International admissions

Biruni University handles admissions from abroad through its International Relations Office, which describes an eight-stage process: online application, academic evaluation, conditional acceptance letter, tuition payment, approval verification, final acceptance letter, in-person final registration, and compliance notes. Final registration is completed in person at the International Relations Office on the Zeytinburnu main campus, where original documents must be presented. The 'How to Apply' page lists the documents needed at application and at registration but does not publish accepted school-leaving examinations or minimum entry scores. Language requirements are set out separately in the Registration Guideline, which lists accepted English certificates for English-taught programmes and Turkish proficiency routes, including a one-year Turkish preparatory programme for applicants who fail the university's Turkish examination.

• High school diploma in Turkish or English, or a notarised translation; final-year students may submit an official letter from their school
• High school transcript (with notarised translation where required)
• Official identification — Turkish ID card or passport
• Entry–exit records for Turkish citizens and dual citizens who completed high school abroad
• Full civil registry record with citizenship annotation for dual citizens
• At final registration (originals required): original high school diploma, original transcript, original valid passport, tuition payment receipt, two passport-size photographs
• Diploma equivalency certificate where required; the guideline notes an undertaking may be accepted with submission within one year
• Applicants under 18: birth certificate and parental consent, translated and notarised
• English proficiency test result, if held
• Final registration is completed in person at the International Relations Office on the Zeytinburnu main campus
